Ciliegiolo is a rare, indigenous grape from Tuscany that is hard to find in a 100% expression, yet it is full of character and flavor. This wine is made by one of it's true champions: Motta, who stand by their take on the varietal and we agree this is quite a bottle. Dry and rustic yet with hints of chocolate cake with cherries on top without being too concentrated or full-bodied. Pair with rustic, Italian dishes and cheeses and with meat involved and you'll be happy!
